September 2010: E.B. Marks/Hal Leonard published William Bolcom’s “Fancy Tales” and “Pastorale” with editorial markings by Philip Ficsor.
July 2010: American Double presented on William Bolcom’s Second Sonata, Duo Fantasy and Graceful Ghost at the Montecito Festival in California on July 20th.
Summer 2010: Emma Lou Diemer and Philip Ficsor interviewed by KUSC’s Gail Eichenthal for broadcast (forthcoming).
Spring 2010: “Summer Day” performed on radio at stations around the country including KCBX (San Luis Obispo), KWAX (Eugene, OR), WLRH (Huntsville, AL), WPRB (Princeton).
November, 2009: “Summer Day” features the complete works for violin and piano by renowned composer Emma Lou Diemer. A pioneering composer for women, this is the only recording in print that features Diemer as a performer. The Suite for Violin and Piano was commissioned for this recording.
